Carolynn Hawtin was born in a log hospital in Jackson Hole, attended college at the University of Wyoming and returned to Jackson to teach at the Wilson School. For twelve years, she served on the school board, including a term on the Wyo State Board of Education. Carolynn continues to serve on boards and volunteers her time at a variety of valley organizations. Exploring is a way of life for Carolynn and her husband, whether it is trekking in Nepal, hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, boating on the Chesapeake, or hiking in the Tetons. Touring homes in all areas has been a way of life with her architect husband, so real estate was a natural fit. She recently moved into a LEED-certified home designed by her husband, an experience that has given new depth to her understanding of energy-efficient, sustainable design and construction. |
